ok im stuck on this build, i cannot figure out a way to mount the servos. maybe you guys could help me out. here are pics of both axles, as you will see the front axle is really close to the frame so servo clearence is needed. any ideas? front axle inside view of front rear axle inside view of rear axle |

You could make mounts that go on the sides of the axles. Like all the way near the knuckle but not yet touching them. Hope that this helps. Krystopher |

If this is a scale build, I'd put the servo inboard and drag link and con rod. 1:1 style. The chassis is close enough.

longer shocks j/k i agree with the frame mount idea. it would look pretty good that way, and keep a nice clean look on the axles to keep the scale look

| SHE LIVES!!!! i go the truck going today finally.my wheels showed up(thanks BD) also the steering set-ups work mint. I need to make the roof panel and then its completly done. i wanted to go out and test it but with all this rain we got everything is soaked and the yard is like soup, so ill have to wait. one it dries up ill take it to Ma-Bell and run the sh!t out of it. anyway here are the pics for the front steering i simply mounted the servo on the frame with a drag link. the rear was a little more complex but it works, the servo is mounted to the skid with a drag link to a bell crank, then to the knuckles it works sick |
