Heres some pics of updates. Now, with the two lathes on there, it walks right up everything. I decided to go with the coilovers since I could adjust them so much more. Now, I have zero torque twist. Yahoo. I also changed how I had my antenna mounted and ran it up a piece of lexan underneath the seat. However, I am still getting some wierd glitches. Cant really explain them. The other day, after a fair amount of hard crawling, I did get the first motor to smoke again. But it still works fine. Odd. If anyone has ideas on that I would love to hear them. Anyways, here are pics.
New shocks

New dual motor mount

Doesnt stick out too bad after a bit of a shave....

Hulk, that is some awesome work ya have done

what material did you use to attach your links and shocks and stuff? I am almost at that point on my project and think i need to use a thinner metal. I don't want to be brazing it and the brakeline melt before the attachment point pieces even gets hot.

did you just use like 18 gauge metal and drill holes all in it?

Thanks

I am actually not sure what gauge it is. Its close to 18 gauge if anything. It works alright, but it melts pretty fast with my welder too. Brakeline would just disappear with my welder. Its a 195 so its hard to use for these little things, but at least I know the welds wont break! Hehe.
Thanks for all your compliments- it looks like it might be getting featured in extreme offroad magazine next to the real campbell buggy. So thats pretty crazy!

ahh thats right, you weld yours. I forgot about that. when i have been building this tuber, i have just used the welder to tack it real quick. makes holding it in place less hassle

Congrats on the Campbell shoot

That's cool , what a compliment huh? I have enough tube for another simpler tuber. I may make another one.

Not that you need any reassurance on your abilities because I know it's been said time and again, but that has got to be the best looking tuber I have ever seen, hands down! Great job man, keep up the awesome work!

The answer to your question is on this page, read all posts to see if your question has been asked by someone else before posting. This thread is over 8 months old. And also on this page he said he put springs back on the shocks and it acts much better. Not trying to be harsh, but read the threads as well as look at the pics, most of the time your answer will be there.
