Default 1/6th Flattie

I started working on this yesterday. It will be a close 1/6th scale replica of my flattie. This body is a little different than Ryan's, so I have to build a frame for it, but it should be pretty sweet when it's all done.
It will have-
Narrowed All-Ts
2.8 wheels
Super rooster
Custom frame
A whole bunch of cool cage work

I still need to figure out what shocks I'm going to run, but I'll worry about that once it's all linked up and everything is mounted. Oh, and the 1:1 reference-

Looks like a cool project man. Why clod axles though?

I went with clod axles because I more or less wanted to keep the interior in tact and having a tranny in the way kinda ruins the look I'm going for.

A little bit more progress. I'm running 2.8" Jato wheels to give it a 17" wheel look. The tires are a little small at a 33" look, but it should be ok.

The tires are sticking out of the body about the perfect amount to match my flattie

Minor update: I got the frame pieces all cut today, but didn't have time to weld because class was starting. I might have some spare time to steal some welder time tomorrow. Oh, and I'm gonna run the full width All-T's because it seems to look fine under the body.

Finally got a chance to get into the welding lab and get the frame welded up today. I think I'll have a little time this weekend to get it linked up, so then I have to decide shocks and body mounts.
