Thought my 1/6 build(s) are worthy of this sticky. It is a 1/6 scale Nylint TJ jeep body utilizing an Axial Wraith suspension/drive with a custom welded chassis/frame. The 1/6 Nylint TJ Jeep body is somewhat larger then are the Hasbro or similar WWII Jeep builds. And so IMO fits a 12" action figure very well. I also built a 1/6 scale quad from a 1/18 scale chassis. And scale is primarily due to utilizing a 1/6 scale quad body on it. Yes, my 12" GI Joe action figure can also ride the quad. And thanks to Mike Flea I now have a 1/6 scale WWII M100/M416 trailer to tow behind. Tho' I'm still working on that. Below is the build link... and even includes a comparison to my 1/10 scale Honcho as well my 1/6 scale quad. enjoy 1/6 Wraith/Nylint TJ Jeep + scale quad ^ lots of pics/video tho' it would seem these projects have no end !? |
