Looks monster truck like. I like it though. The stacks came out cool but on a SS. Never seen that before. Not sure about the camo graphics but that's just me. It's your truck after all.

SSMuddHauller69 11-03-2007 02:25 PM

Beautiful. I love the Michigan plate, I'm a Michigander myself. :)

Can't wait to see the finished product, looks great already.

xxizzer421xx 11-07-2007 06:58 PM

i really want one of those redneck stickers where did you get that at?

west virginia krawler 11-07-2007 07:43 PM

Looks amazing!! That servo looks a little small, hows it doin?

SSMuddHauller69 11-07-2007 08:24 PM

Thanks guys the hitec 5995 servo works great turns tires like there not

even there, with 5 cell pack for steering servo it gets a little hot after

long runs but havent had any problems yet

As for the redneck and 4X4 stickers I got them at a sticker vendor at my

local trade center called gibraltar just had them shrink them down to

the size I needed

And im in the process of making a hitch with a removable reciever, scale

frt D-rings and possibly a winch that could pull this beast out if it gets

stuck

steveo 561 11-10-2007 03:47 PM

plate read got mud but looks pretty clean to me, lets see those boggers put to good use.

broncocarnage 11-11-2007 01:24 PM

1/6 SS Silverado first scaler

Quite a coincedence--I'm also building a 1/6 scale WCC Silverado monster truck using X-Factor axles, E-Maxx tranny, 8 aluminum Savage shocks, etc., etc. It has four link suspension, four wheel drive and is four wheel steer. A lifelong friend of mine who is a machinist made a custom 5/16" aluminum chassis that I designed for it along with a number of axle and chassis brackets for the suspension components. I'm using a dual 820 size motor/gearing setup with a custom motor mounting plate all from Kershaw Engineering. This setup requires using a Novak Super Duty XL esc. Also, I have a set of RC4WD aluminum 'Jumbo" beadlockers with a set of Imex Swamp Kongs on it.

I'm curious, what Ofna diff lockers did you use in your X-Factor differentials? I've been looking for some type of spools/lockers to use in mine. Would you mind giving me the part number for them please? I would like to give them a try. Do they fit the X-Factor diff's directly, or was some modification needed?

Also, how is the 8/72 gearing that you are using working out with your 40 series Mud Slingers?

By the way, how tall were the Hot Bodies tires you had on it? ......How tall are the Mud Slingers?

Have you weighed your truck? What does it weigh without the batteries? (or with the batteries.)

Thanks a lot for your help. I really like your truck...very cooool!!
