Every time I click into these scale builds I become more and more amazed at the realism. You craftmanship and creativity is just top notch! |

Hey John, even though Its not TOTALLY done.. ( Still gotta paint the sliders, and re-mount the interior..) , YES it will be going to the Jeep Rally ..!!!!!!!!! I REALLY do want to finish this thing someday but with projects like the "Timberwolf" and now more recently "Clampy", i just haven't had the time to get back into it.. BUT I hopefully will get it done THIS winter..!!

| Update..!!!!! Finally..!!!!!
Allright, Heres a LONG awaited update on this thing..! This past weekend was the "Great American Jeep Rally", down in Somers Conn. I took EVERY jeep related piece i owned ( real and R/C..!) Up until this point the "Ultimate TJ " has sat untouched- in my basement covered in dust..well I thought this would be the PERFECT reason to get it up and going.. ( at least runnable to drive it around down there on thier HUGE Rock Garden..!) - After ALL- this WAS A jeep rally..!! SO I got some radio gear re-installed, painted up the sliders, put some sponser stickers on the side, threw the interior in.., and off we went..!!! Heres a pic with my buddy Johns Rock-1 Scaler..!! There was this one Tall rock section in the center of the garden, that nobody could seem to crawl up onto... well after 2 attempts, it just wasn't workin for me either.., SO - I used the "when in doubt-throttle it out" mentality... I punched it, and the HEAVY TJ stood straight up on the rear bumper, and came crashing down backwards onto the roof....thats when i heard the "CRACK".... After rolling it back over, this is what I saw.... The drivers mirror broke clean off.. The fender flare cracked, the actual fender itself cracked, and the orange lense shattered into 3 pieces..!!! Not to mention the Nasty scratches on the hood, fenders and rollbar..!! I guess thats the only REAL way to break in a new rig ..Literally !! LOL..!!! Here it is at the end of the day with my real 1:1 TJ, and my 51' Willys... All in all a real FUN day, with great weather, awesome new friends, and TONS of Bad-Ass Jeeps..!! |

| LOL- Carnage is what its all about..! Gives me a reason to bodywork, and re-paint it..!!! I still think I want to paint it Pearl Metallic Blue... I'll have to make sure it dosen't take another year and a half for another update..!!! |

A little distance shot for size....it needs respect! in the rocks careful there buddy..... Good time, just wish I had more time to see the sights! John |

Hey John- Glad to see you down there.., It was also cool to meet Brett, Matt and Brandon too.. Everyone I went with had fun too, granted i was a little sore from driving the Willys for a grand total of 6 1/2 hours round trip.. (with NO power steering OR power Brakes..!!) - but when it was all said and done.., I'd do it again- In A Heartbeart..!!! |

Awesome... I was beginning to wonder as I read thru the thread how many more posts I could go before someone was offering to purchase... These look so different taken out from under a tiny 1/10 scale lexan body all chopped up, and all scaled out to correct proportion Looks great, amazing attention to detail there too |

Now I wish I hadn't taken that Newbright back to WalMart . Making them look real is more than half the fun. Nice job!
