What lights did you end up using? Thanks for the tip on the axles. The guy with the SS Silverado used X-Factor axles. His wheels stick out further then I want mine too. I know his wheelbase is the same and it looks like his width is pretty comparable. How wide are the x-factors? I have a 12" width and I think I want an axle width of 10 1/2" so that the wheels and tires will look right.

| Wheely King axles
If you buy a wheely and use the axles it comes with 14 mm hexes you can run 40 series tires. if you do that it will maybe widen you a hair though. Last I checked a 4x4 wheely king was comprible in price to a set of built Clod axles. (Just under or over 200)

Thanks. I will definitly look into a WK. I didn't even think of just buying the whole WK and breaking it down. Is the tranny any good?

| Wheely King Tranny
I am prolly one of the biggest advocates of the HPI wheely King tranny, but I think in your case you should look at a heavier Tranny such as a Emaxx or E savage. The wieght of the 1/6 scale body may be too much for the small WK to lug around. Inside it does have plastic gears and a sort of picky slipper. I would figure out a good scale chassis with a emaxx 2 speed and a good tenth scale servo setup. I heard you can now buy a WK without electronics so you could build from there. Word to the wise though. Traxxas just came out with a new emaxx that is waterproofed, so the new ESC might be worth waiting for.

Sounds good. I know they are thinking of releasing a twin brushless e-maxx.

It's been slow progress. Been out of town for the Holiday's. Got some work done on the body but it's to cold here to paint. My garage has no heat nor electricity. I guess that's what I get for renting.

Go with TXT axles, they look like Rockwells axles from a 2 1/2 ton army truck, the same axles used in monster trucks.
