stang im gonna use swamp dawgs, an ode to the fj, and per rydes request. i like the look of them and it really isnt gonna be a crawler, more of a trailrig if you will.its gonna be way to heavy and tipsy to crawl much. BTW i did the skid, i used a bruiser crossmember and some plates made from galvanized 20 ga sheet metal. also i bent some tailpipes for the V8 now i just need to make some flowmasters. |

i got it running!!! the gearing is way off though, it'll never make it up a trail, the motor cogs at every start up. it might have something to do with the fact that im running my Revolver program???? i dont know, but it is fast as hell. i have a 14t 48p at the gd, im gonna try a 12 tooth, if that doesnt work, in goes the pull master.the steering worked out pretty well too. ill post pics later.

Yur welcome! That cage is slick. I'm gonna have to buy this from you when you are bored with it More reduction will certainly solve your woes. What do you have now, like 15:1 or something? |

Put a big ole pinion in there, like a 16t. Then the 2:1 transfer will balance it right out.

| Now that looks good! I like the shock mount too. I do think the black wheels you have sitting next to the Jeep in the last picture would look better on it though. |
