Still a W.I.P. Have been working on it a few weeks between after school and on weekends. Hopefully will have it finished by tomorrow. Wanted to do a real scaler not just a body on a chassis(though some look awesome)

Full build here, like I said should be done by tomorrow

EDIT: More. Chassis is finished now gotta do detail work, gotta paint the driveshaft too, sticks out too much. Gonna go to rubberband droop on this one.

Wife had to have a custom old truck. Tried to find an old 1929 truck but settled for a 1941 Chev. I got a bug body from Dogbreath and proceeded to hack it up a bit. Both rigs are lengthened and lights installed along with some wheels weights. Then I saw a trailer in the hobby shop from testers that was also 1/25 and this is what I ended up with.

Looks even better, heres mine, all finished and any spots that appear pink, are actually a very nice red. Hitting the rocks in a bit.

Hand made toolbox, with a hinge too!

Battery hidden away, out of sight

Just so you can appreciate the size of it, compared to stock

Remember, red, not pink, and just so you can appreciate the attention to detail that went into it, the dashboard detail was done by hand, by me

EDIT: Few more pictures from today and some running video, maiden outdoor voyage as a scaler

Sitting at just over 9" long in all its glory. Enjoy~

I bought a micro for my boy at Christmas, and while at home at my parents house, I came across an old battery powered truck, and, low and behold, this is how it ended up, so far.

More pictures from today

See, the battery stays hidden nicely.

Enjoy, it performs MUCH better with the actual droop instead of stiff with the rubber band droop, also got the rear adjusted so it has ZERO play compared to before where the rear would sway a lot

Default Updated pics

Just some from tonight with my new Micro

I like this pic (my roommate is getting anxious to drive the Courier)

No binding in either one either(yet) My son gets his this Thursday(2-4) for his birthday so hopefully his won't bind either.
