Yep, the Lincoln Log crawler. Maybe I'll be able to actually create a decent course in this little apartment!

I have done a few things to make my micro more capable. I left the springs on but added some small black silicone bands to pull it down some and they act like internal springs somewhat. So far I reallly like the effect. I started out with the battery on the front servo but found that while the weight up front was nice it was just too high up for me. I have the stock battery and a micro lipo for it and now have a velcro pad on the rear plate to put them.
It was necessary to make up the weight in the front so its still front biased so I added some 1/4oz weights to the front on the outside of both front wheels and trimmed some weights to fit around the front driveshaft. I was looking to add weight up front but it had to stay as low as possible. I also put a few wraps of small solder wire inside the tires to make up for the rest of the weight I needed. Now I believe its back to an ideal 65/35 or so weight ratio. Has a great balance for my crawling now

I would really love to slam that body down like I have seen some others do on here but am too afraid i would make it look butchered

slow and low that is the tempo...

removed battery tray and esc tray, sanded slot for bearing in tranny, running a bit smoother now with better low end speed, micro deans are a must, removed esc case and servo taped to servo, two wraps of plumbing solder in the front on each wheel, nothing on rears yet, full on droop, trimmed body to be slammed using stock post holes in body, i moved the posts down one little space where screws once were. I like seeing the shock tops poke out of the body so had to do that plus lets it sit a bit lower as a result. 200mAh LiPo on rear axle held on by a hair tie in black.

The body is from a cheap RC that I found at the grocery store and it fits great! I put the ESC on the servo and fliped the switch over. Had to make body mounts from Mini LST posts and Micro DT screws. This is the blue version, but after washing the plastic wheel rings in nitro fuel they came out black, so no scraped paint in their future. Going to weight the wheels on the inside of the inner rings with lead weights (on the wheels) and put internal springs in the shocks instead of the coil over DT springs that I have installed now.
