Default Battery Charging options

Anyone got any ideas on charging the stock battery? I do not want to use the AA charger and it takes too long. Can we smack these with a normal fast charger? How many amps do you think the stock battery can handle?

guys from my history with micro T's the stock included chargers are trash, they never fully charge and pack no punch. You can def charge them on any normal charger which you can change seetings.
i cahrge my 180mah 4.8 packs at 0.2a 200mah 6mc/c and they used to come awesome...

I either charge on my Imax B5, or the Duratrax Ice.

On the LiPo I charge at 2S, 200mAh, .1 Amp

On the NiMH I charge at 4 Cell, 200mAh, .1 Amp

Losi actually sells an adapter for $3.00 that converts from Tamiya to their micro plug. Or you could just swap to Micro Deans. There is also several wright ups on converting the stock charger to AC, with just a $10 power converter from Wal Mart, and a $3 plug from Radio Shack. Search Google for "converting micro-t charger to AC"

I was getting like five minutes of runtime when using the included false peaking charger. Now I'm using the Ice at .3a works great and the bats taking 162mah.

sorry to dig up an old thread, I took mine and added a two AA holder to the top of it and use rechargables. No problems at all, get to charge the car and the batteries. but Shauns post regarding converting it to AC would be alot better.

That's what a buddy of mine did and he also charges at 0.5a, hasn't had a problem yet......

I personally put a micro deans on it and charged it at 0.5a but only until I went lipo with micro deans......
