again cheapest in the US I have found
180mah $3.20 GForce 20C 180mAh 2S 7.4V LiPO - 2S - 7.4V - Batteries - Power
350mah $4.50 GForce 30C 350mAh 2S 7.4V Lipo

Personally I would rather grab 2 or 3 of the 350s rather than some huge 400mah+ pack.
they have been great so far
thank!!

Correct! but I find I get a more full charge at a slightly lower amperage.
for example on my 1300mah lipos I go to the next lowest setting. which I think for my charger is 1250 or so. you can do 1700 or 1750 if thats the next lowest on yours. it may take a few extra minutes but it gives a more full charge at the max voltage

I just ordered 6 batteries for my Micro's from the HobbyKing USA warehouse yesterday- four 350s & two 180s. Not much more coin than the international stuff & about $6 shipped priority.

that looks correct from what I can see.
Discharge is simply that, it discharges the battery ( removes charge )
I never use it.
if you follow the correct procedure and use a Lipo sack you will be fine

I highly suggest a lipo sack as cheap insurance

thanks

I found this LiPo Battery Charging - TREX500 Helicopter Project

also I didnt understand this...

From the table above, you can see the progress of the charger over the 29 minutes it took to push 777 mA into my battery. Since my battery can hold 2650 mA, this charge represented 777/2650 = 30%.

the charger still doing the job and is about 1 hour charge in the sky lipo 1800m . how normally does it takes? in the option INC button to check the voltage of each cell show me like 4.2v and the oother one 4.2 and 0 the others... that correct?

it takes however long it takes.. that depends on the settings and how much charge is left. 4.2V per cell is the full charge voltage right off the charger. so yes, that is correct. it should be 4.2v per each cell. So a 2S lipo will be 8.4V off the charger

When your charger stops charging.

Usually there will be some beeping and/or the display will show a message (it does with my Hyperion charger). With a LiPo charger it shuts down once proper voltage is reached, no trickle charging at all.

It should all be detailed in the charger manual.

either by low voltage cut-off (stock esc/Rx has this already built in) .... or by watching for a noticeable power drop and stopping to re-charge then. You can also buy battery minders to add on to the Car.

just get 2-4 lipos 360mah or less and swap them out as the previous dies out.
this way you have
longer run times in total compared to one giant pack
WAY better performance and handling than a gigantic heavy lipo pack
and also if you go for bigger packs and have only one and it goes bad you are SOL and need to order another pack anyway.
i bought a 400mah 2s trex-pro battery off ebay and it puffed up after the first charge ... i got to use it for about 20 mins or so before it puffed up on me i hope it was just a bad battery and not something wrong with the low voltage cut off in the ESC... this time i will buy 2 batterys and probably go a bit smaller on the mah rating...

I don't know if it has already been posted but I found a JAMARA 7.4V 2s 250mah lipo at my lhs.
It's a bit smaller than a 350mah ZIPPY and no balance plug.
Dim. 38 x 22 x 12mm
Works good so far and fits great on the rear axle.
About 23min runtime.
