MTF?
got a link?

Half power is fine for my rig, its tiny. just want longer run times with less time charging. and don't want to deal with LiPo's right now. running everything on the extra cheap! xD

I'm sure these have been posted but I just tried these and like them just swap the connector out carefully

Value Hobby R/C Hobby Store (Bensenville, Illinois): GForce 20C 180mAh 2S 7.4V LiPO (E-Flite UMX Replacement)

Only like $2.00 each plus the cost of the connector so like $2.75 total. Just order a few when you order I think the shipping was flat $5 or something.

few things...
1. anyone find any new batteries out there that still fit in the stock location? dont want to mount to the rear axle...
but dont mind soldering..
and i see batteries from all of your links u guys r posting... from $1.75 (needs ends) to $30!!!!!!

2. i have a thunder ac6 charger... it came with a lipo... LOSB9825 7.4v 250mah for the sumo b ut i will probably try it on the trekker too.. anyway.. i couldnt plugin the balance plug.. smaller.. guess they sell a smaller 2s balance plug.. so micro to normal 2s adapter?

I plan to buy a lipo wall charger and a turnigy 180 mah 2s lipo battery.

What charge and run time can I expect to see? I was told 10 minute charge time and 20+ minutes of run time for the battery?

Please let me know. Thanks

^^^ not sure on the charge time... i know lipo you have to charge at the rate you should or POOF it will go... mostly i am charging my losb9825 2s 220mah lipo at .2A and takes about 27 minutes. may push it to .3A or .4A as I have 4 x 350mah 2s lipos on the way

cool thing today... my LHS.. I walked in.. threw my Thunder AC6 balance board on the table along with the 2s lipo battery..
he walked over and threw 2 x zippy 180mah 2s lipos and said.. well this will help somewhat... for free.. hah..
then i showed him how the batteries he gave me fit in the balance board but mine doesnt... i turned around to one of them turn carousels and viola.. it stuck out like a sore thumb... dont know why but it did.. lol...

so i grabbed it and it works...

oh yeah.. the 180mah size is smaller than the 220mah.. but look at the size difference... the 180 is actually a bit longer.. however the 220 is a lot thicker...

the 180mah fits in the AAA battery tray in the sumo though!!!

so the 220mah losi is $30..
but you can run 2 x 180 (360mah) in parallel... run one on each side!!!!!!!!

oh cruddy pic so sorry but u can see the balance adapter in use here...

my losb9825 250mah 2s actually took 55 minutes @ .2A
now im charging a 180mah 2s zippy flightmax but they are rated at 2c!!!! so not going at .2A but more of .3A...
will let you know charge time.. then i will play with it in my sons sumo and let you know charge time...

ok.. it just finished.. since they were just got from the LHS... i balance charged them...

90mah out of 180mah took 27 minutes...

I just got some of these today. Also ordered the mini Deans connectors. So far I'm liking them, and for those interested, they do fit in the stock location, just a hair tight but fit.

well got them in... it does not fit in the stock trekker location... well if you stand it up it will.. but i dont want that.. should be able to velcro it narrow on the steering servo... or make a plate to rest it on...

but the sumo is a different thing...

Micro sumo and 2 zippy 350s by TeleFragger / RootBreaker, on Flickr

very snug in there... fits in the stock AAA battery holders...
gonna run 2 in parallel.

I should have specified that they fit in the stock location of the MRC. I don't have a Trekker. Hope you didn't order them based on my post.
