Does the Micro Raptor chassis have more battery space on the rear axle than the stock truck does? I know there is no body to get in the way so if it was possible to fit a 400-500 mah 2S that would be great... I'll probably end up getting a Micro Raptor (when the store reopens) and then measure out the dimensions and then order the biggest battery I can. |
The rear deck is still the same size regardless of what chassis you run |

BTW, would these work: http://www.valuehobby.com/product_de...=7&item_id=157 |
I use these Dynamite 180Mah lipos - http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...20C-74V-180mAh They are a little bit more expensive but I have questionable soldering skills with such a small battery and I like that it has the Losi minio plug already. I also use the Thunder AC-6 charger from Hobbypartz.com. It has done charged both Lipo and Nimh batts of all sizes. |

Height is NOT the problem, length and width are.....the batt you linked to is a little big, you should try not to go bigger than 40mm long X 25mm wide |
I just got my Micro and haven't done anything yet but get pissed off at it binding, called Losi, and ordered the U Trail. I'm ready to order some batteries but like I said, since I haven't opened it up yet, can someone tell me what dimensions I need to find a battery that fits? |

The Flightmax 350 is a great fit and a great price....I also have a couple of them |
What 3.7 1S Lipos are you using DB? I just ordered up a pair of these from Aero-Nuts but I was wondering what other options people were using. http://www.aero-nuts.com/product_inf...roducts_id=603 |
I also use the 1S2P from Aeronuts, the 560 version I Have a 1S 400 Walkera Heli batt too, works great |
660 mah 1s lipo My venom 7.4 volt 1320 mah lipo that was in my losi buggy got a bad cell from no lipo cut off so I split up the one good cell and made a 660 mah battery . It is a good fit to be velcroed to the roof of my h2 scaler body. before the chop / it is actually a pic of my replacement, these venom lipos are $20.00 at my LHS but I haven't looked online and of coarse I don't even have to say "insane run times" |
I've got one of these coming, should fit the rear tray. I'll edit this when it gets here. RCTRAX 7.4V 2s 20C 400mAh LiPo |
So, I read through the entire thread and im still confused about all of this. I just picked up a mrc and I would like to pick up 2-3 packs and i would need a charger as well. So could someone be so kind as to show me the best way to go? Im sure its a quick answer so any help would be greatly appreciated."thumbsup" |
I am using a 1s2p 400mah batteries they have great run times and slow the crawler down so it is not as punchy as with a 2s. http://www.aero-nuts.com/product_inf...roducts_id=603 I have the Hyperion EOS0606i AC charger and it works good with no complaints. I also have 2 of the Losi LIPO batteries. And 2 Flightmax 350's. I like having the 2S to get a bit more wheel speed over some areas. |
I got 3 hyperion G3-CX -240mAh - 2S - 25C and 3 Rhino/zippy 360mAh - 2S - 20C batteries. loads of punch now ;-) so i might get me a couple of 1S lipos too. BTW. got the hyperion 0606I too,but i have nothing in my past to compare it to. |
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Ah_2S1P_15-25C this is a descent battery i am running, 2 cell 500 mAh, kinda large but the run time is great, and it powers my scaler along pretty excellent considering the weight. |
are u sure its a cut off though cause my mini does that just no throttle but still steering?? unless the mini has 1 aswell?? |

Those look like the 350 2S cells....I like those but prefer the 3.7v 1S for general crawling, there is sooo much more low speed control. So whats the highest mah single cell everyone is using? |
Currently I have a 400Mah but I am waiting for the a 560Mah to back in stock. Not sure if I will need the 560 as I get more than enough time with the 400.;-) |
