Micro with diffrent lids (mockups) Here are some photos of my micro with a few different bodies and next to some Mini-Zs for size comparison. I believe im going to try and braze myself a frame and use the GMC truck model but suprisingly I really like the Mini-Z Monster Kyosho Mad Force body on it. It allows for full articulation with zero rubbing. I can actually lower it quite a bit from where it is at in the photos. Let me know what you think. Enjoy :-P http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/b...s/CIMG5316.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/b...s/CIMG5317.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/b...s/CIMG5318.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/b...s/CIMG5313.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/b...s/CIMG5314.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/b...s/CIMG5320.jpg |

I cant wait to see some of the sick scaler builds that come out of the micro."thumbsup" |
Just broke a shock. I only ran one pack through it. Now i have to wait a week or more to get a new part!!!!. Im going to sleep. Damn things are weaker than paperclips.... hmmm maybe i could use a paperclip.... Im still going to sleep. |
let me guess you tried to pop it off the ball stud, i just did the same and had to bend my shaft back |
I found its easier to unscrew the ball socket from the frame and axle than it is to try and pop the shock off the ball. The shock shafts bend pretty easy and I figure they will break easy too. I put the long micro t shocks on mine and it sits about right now. Good luck! |

Sorry to hijak your thread, just tryin to help:oops: |
Has anyone tried a mini quake body yet? Not the most scale...but might be an interesting fit. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJAG7&P=7 I also wonder how the proline descender body would look on it with some wheel spacers or something. I haven't seen the molds but maybe it would be possible to cut it in a way so that it wouldn't have the comp cut look. http://www.prolineracing.com/product...dy-192-31.html |

Yeah but check the widths, 3.5 and 3.88. They might work for more mild builds with the tires under the fenders. |
