Default My Micro Course

Update: It's Done

Just finished my "Rock Quarry". I wanted it to be modular and light weight. The two sections are 1.5 x 3 foot. You can crawl from one module to the other and my boys love it. Their is a nice overhang that is fun to climb.

-----------------------
This was my first attempt at working with foam and trying to make a fake rock course in general. Got some graffiti on their and I call it the rock quarry due to the shape of the center slabs. The pics really don't do it justice as you can't really see the distressing and aging of the rocks.

Hope you enjoy

Cool stuff I like it.
I think all the geometric rocks do look like a quarry, but the bulbous foam on the perimeter is kinda bringing the look down.
Maybe just cut them up to be a little more angular and random and paint them again.
What did you use to seal the foam?
Please let us know how well it stands up to the crawling.

Thanks for the great feedback. I started crawling on it today and it works pretty good. I had enough material left over so I decided to make another course that will flow from the first course. More pics to come later
