| Pinion's in the box?
How many of you have changed the pinion on your rig yet? I just found the other 2 pinions in the box today, I didn't know they were in there! I'm going to try out the 14t and see if that will get rid of some of the stall. Not sure what size pinion is on there now?

Comes stock with a 10 tooth pinion, I counted while I had mine apart. Should've counted the spur too, but I didnt.

Thanks. Well no use in changing the pinion then The 14T will just make it worse!

can you get anything smaller than a 10t? I would assume there are the same pitch as the micro t stuff? I would love to have the option to start slower. |

I think a good motor and a 2s lipo will wake this little guy up! I'm going to drop a Mamba Micro 8000KV brushless in mine tonight with a Mamba 25 and see what happens! With the other pinions that come with the kit I can't imagine why there in there though? It stalls pretty easy with the 10T pinion, a 14T would be way worse and the other one (I haven't counted the teeth on that one yet) I would guess prob wouldn't even move this rig! | |

Comes with the 10T on it, the other 2 are 12T and 14T.

Here's a newb question. I just received 2 new brass pinions for my micro. I'm wondering what kind of glue I need to use to install it. The old plastic pinions were stripped and would spin on the motor shaft.

From what I have read/viewed you will need to heat the pinion with a lighter to get in on the output. I have also read that you can press them on while supporting the output with pliers etc. Youtube |
