| Grrrrrr
Hey, Well, I just turned on my crawler and drove it for the first time, and.... I can't believe I payed 120$ for this One shock won't extend all the way down 2 shock shafts are bent from factory It is making a small grinding noise from somwhere. I was really happy to get it, untill now. I will have to dump a bunch of cash into it, I aint giving up on it yet. This is the first car made by losi that I have been dissapointed with. I was hoping for somthing that would at least be "good" out of the box like the other micros. Grrr, I am a little irritated as you can see |

At least you got yours, I preordered mine from my LHS when they were first announced and I called today and the owner said it MIGHT be here at the end of the week I just hope when I get mine it doesn't have the problems that people are having right out of the box.

I sure it's something simple. I haven't heard of any real probs with them so far. I think the are all a little noisy just from the worm gears and the motor is a little noisy.

Mines a tad noisy, but so far it's been great. No major mods or anything, just moved the battery and it's great. It's my first losi vehicle and I couldn't be more impressed with a RTR. It's the first RTR i have had that I didn't want to replace the servo as soon as I used it. |

I just took it apart, my idler gear is warped. It doesn't make much of a difference from what I can tell. I relocated the battery and went to a droop setup, It does quite a bit better. I guess stuff happens somtimes, especially to me, that I just have to fix the right way and not complain about it. |

| axles and noise
i have torn into the axles and there is little to nothing in there, hardly any grease. i just put some heavy grease on mine and it got alot quieter. i think it's just the metal on metal gears and stuff sorry i have no pics, didn't think of taking any |

there is an exploded view of the axles in the parts list page you get with the crawler if you don't want to get in there yourself

| X2 although worm drives are badass and strong drives then can be loud just by the design of them. but really wouldnt worry much about any of that noise on some thing this small and lite! |

I have zero complaints with mine. Its one of the funnest R/c's I have owned in a LONG time. I do agree its a little on the loud side, but it just gives it character |

| Only prob so far...
So far only problem I've had to fight is the center trans wants to bind up. Tore into it a couple times, and it's either the output shaft or the gear on it. It doesnt run centered and straight. It even sees to run out of round the way it binds in one area of the final gear. I'm hoping i caught it soon enough it didnt hurt the motor or the esc. |
