Default My New Raptor

I received two Raptor chassis' from Lance today. Within 2 hours of getting home, I had the panels painted, decaled and truck built. What's cool is the HR Shocks seem to come alive with this setup. They work way better in this chassis then with the stock.

Nice, how are the panels attached?

I really, really want one of these. Hopefully I can get a job soon to get an McRC and this chassis.

Sidepanels are held with a bolt and the roof/hood are attached with a small spot of CA glue on the crossbars.

That is a nice body. Did you see an improvement in crawling? You put your batt in the rear. Is there room back there w/ the frame? What material is it made out of?

Thanks for fixing up the photos for me. As far as the battery goes, there is room up front and in back. The frame is made of Delrin and is very well made by Lance. As far as crawling, I haven't had a chance to take it out to my rock garden in the front yard, but I did crawl it around last night on pillows, etc. It did seem to crawl better. Way better articulation. I did loose a bit when I intially installed the HR shocks to the original chassis, but they are noticeably better in this chassis, probably because they are laid back a little bit and well as setting them up inboard. I can't wait to try this out in the rock garden!
