Maybe it is. Maybe not. I just took two LEDs and soldered them to the motor leads on the esc. You have light anytime you hit the gas forward. I want to have a light bar above the windsheild on the roof but I know that wouldn't last long. We will have to see how this holds up. by playing with the trim I did notice the LEDs only come on while the motor is actually moving. That means the tranny isn't grinding after I gave the bearing more room to move around. Any ideas to fit the LEDs better? I want to get some clear shrink wrap for the esc and maybe put the LEDs inside. |

Nice looks good so far. I suggest you go to a hobby shop and look at different model kits for light buckets. Electronics shops like Radio Shack, Fry's, etc may have smaller LEDs so you can make things more scale too. |

Cool lights. Some more underneath the body as accents might be neat - micro rock lights. Some light buckets and some white ones would be cool on the front shocks. | |

i wanted to do some above the hood, but need something that can take some falls on it. i pulled them off since then and am going to just do some lights under the body and light up the rocks. leds wont cost but a few seconds of runtime if i run them off the motor leads as well.... just have them soldered directly to the motor! and yeah, they arent slicks, just going full speed in the photos. |
