I'm running a Redcat Sumo crawler with these mods:

re position shocks for more articulation and cut springs half off
led sticker weights on front and rear servos
trim body to look better
RC4WD steel beadlock wheels and Scrambler tires. Awesome traction and GC (2.5" high tires). I think this is a must mod!
I've been running Panasonic Omloop Pro aaa's and getting almost 6v full charge. But, could still use a little more power on my courses.
I am now planning on doing the lipo conversion with Zippy 350mah 2s mounted with velcro on the front servo.

It's been a great rig and I think Redcat is underrated even when Losi's are not in production anymore. I Did have to change out the motor but that was from normal usage over time. I replaced it with another stock Redcat one.

My Trekker is almost completely stock. I have the basic mods done and a couple upgrades:

- removed bump stops on shocks
- cut 3 coils off of springs for a semi droop setup
- Cut every other lug off of the stock tires for better grip, I still need to remove the foams.
- Weighted stock wheels with solder.
- Stuck coins on top of axles for better weight distribution and COG
- homemade heatsink for the stock motor

- 2s LiPo
- HS55 feather servo I still need to install.

**what size hardware does the Trekker use? I bought mine pre owned on eBay and it didn't come with any tools**

Future upgrades?:
- 4ws, not 4 mode though
- 90T motor
- Beadlocks.
- Super swamper micro tires
- possibly a scale model build. I'm thinking bronco.

Sooo many pages, so I thought I would just ask. Can the stock MRX-3100 run lipos? I’m thinking about a micro x on top, receiver rear, and lipo on front. Have upgraded motor, aluminum spur, HR shocks.
