Nice Joey

I will be taking the plunge and following suite very soon... Already have a custom chassis on reserve when the testing is complete

Any mod plans yet? I am thinking a nice low kv fiago with my 230mah 2s 20c lipo and my micronized mamba 25 from my micro pavement pounder... Should be tons of rock climbing cog-free power.

yeah that does sound yummy. so far i have deans and lipo, im trying to put a BB2 but i think my tranny is hosed from the factory. I might have to give losi a call perhaps i can get some free gears.. to me it appears the large idle gear inside the tranny is warped and doesnt spin true, this or the main spur shaft....

not sure if im being OCD as it was running fine befor i knew about this problem, so i might just get it a best as ic an and toss the BB2 and see how she does

the side opp to the spur, the hole on the idle gear shaft is not lining up with the hole on the out dirve. the side on the spur goes on no problems?

edit lol i had the inside idle gear on the wrong side of the square notch... DOH man i new it was late last night but lol
edit part two... hmm the binding went away, i wonder if it was installed wrong from the factory

Looking good man. Followed a couple of your micro builds before. Nice to see you over here

I looked at doing the Micro T shocks when I got mine but decided to just raise the shock mounts and lay the shocks down a little. Laying the shocks back also helped reduce the effective spring rate.

I raised the upper links 3 or 4mm on my first chassis. I just wasn't crazy about the geometry.

It changes the anti-squat values. Causing the suspension to raise/lower when in a bind, etc. There is a really good thread in general crawlers about squat/anti-squat. It is definitely worth a read.

Well i swapped the Tranny, so more of the weight is towards the front of the rig. I also put a HR roller battery on top of the servo....

however with the drop from the micro t shocks and the battery on the front the lid soent fit no more
