Default Xceleron 1/36 Brushless feedbacks??

Anyone trying these motors/esc's in their micro crawlers? give us some feedback!

how is it? and how long will the tranny/ worm gears last with a fast set up like that?

Thanks!

i really dont think it would go that fast.

there is another thread where Harley posted the gear ratios. w/ worm gears and the tranny the over all ratio was 135:1

i think youre good to go w/ the exceleron, but doubt youll break 5mph lol

especially if you pop a 54t micro t spur and a 9t pinion in it

Overall final drive: 135:1 (unless I fawked up)

That high KV brushless motor out of the Micro T might not be that bad!

I don't think so... the RTR unit is receiver/esc combo... you would need to buy a spektrum reciever that you can bind to the rtr radio...

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! for saving me soo much time n b.s! lol i had a hoal plan planned out lol 2 swap evrything between 3 different cars!

so here (WAS) the plan.
-micro crawler with brushless setup/spektrum reciever
-micro t will recieve the crawlers stock esc n reciever n hitec micro servo since the new esc/reciever combo has a 3wire servo input! (now both trucks im keeping are 2.4GHz!)
-Micro desert truck gets micro t's stock am reciever/esc and will b for sale for like 45 bux!

but it wont work since i wouldent want cogging micro crawler!

no problem... i really dont think these xcelorin systems have much low speed ability... Works great in my speedy micro-t... but it was the 10k kv system that i tried, maybe a lower kv would work? I think the way to go would be a feiago (around 3500kv) brushless moto with quark 22 esc (or micro-sidewinder).. Someone on here has posted about this.
