thank you

Yes it is a japanese kit, hasewaga is the manufacture. It is not diecast.

The vans really do allow you to do up a full interior. I am wating on my driver figures to get here

I breifly looked at the Little Red Wagon. Now that I've seen it mocked up on a chassis I like the idea a lot more.

The VW truck looks pretty cool too. Hasegawa made several variations of VW vans but they're not easy to come across...

I mocked the a100 up on it, I think it looks to short myself, def. need to cut out the rear fenders. They do remind me of the japanese mini trucks though. I think that the 1:20th bodies look better then 1:24, they are just a tad wider and longer, axle/tire combo look more scale to me.

If you stick with the stock wheels/tires, 1:20th scale is definitely more accurate. I've also seen a couple "1:18th" scale toy bodies work out to be pretty close, but with toys accurate scaling is always questionable.

I'm hoping that either someone comes up with smaller wheels, or I'm going to be able to modify something that will work for a 1:24th scale body. I'm trying to build a replica of my own truck (Range Rover Classic) I've obtained the perfect Aoshima 1:24th kit and I'd rather have it end up looking more "stock" than like a monster truck. Aoshima Super Swampers are about the perfect size, IF I can find some wheels that can be modified to work with the Micro axles.

Like these. Perfect size for a 1:24th body IMO. Not wimpy stock diameter, but also not looking like something Tom Meentz or Dennis Anderson would compete with:

I don't know if nascarkeith is using these wheels for real, or if this pic is just a mock-up. Those are the wheels that come with a set of Aoshima's, they are designed for static model embellishment, not RC use. Since I don't see any kind of nut holding the wheels on, I'm assuming this is a mock-up. Keith, can you elaborate on this?

There's just too many body choices in 1:24th scale, hopefully someone will step to the plate with some smaller wheel choices at some point...
