Default Legthenig drive shafts......

so i paln on getting mini t links and stretchin my micro about 1/2 to a full 1" (1/4 to 1/2" each side)

so this brings up these dinky lil Drive shafts. I vee seen a few use a bic pen, and a few w/ styrene.

my question is where are you cutting the shaft? in the middle or right above the u joints?

are you using CA glue or somathing else?

what else do i need to do?

I cut mine about in half on the female end and put it back together using a Bic pen with Super Glue.

for years we have been lengthening shafts by using 2 females cut to fit, then slide a male in the middle and glue it to one of them.

Wow that actually sounds like a great friday night.

your best and easiest bet, now that losi is stoxking the stock parts, it to buy an extra set of drive shafts, you ust cut off the "inside" shaft end that connects it to the diff, and glue it to one of the "outside" shafts and run 2 total "outside" shafts. hard to explain simple to work out. there are also guys who are using thin walled aluminum rod or carbon fiber rod to extend their driveshafts. tey are just cutting the "outside" shaft in half and using rod cut to length that fits tightly on the shafts and just glueing them on. dont worry about the blue arrow in the pic
