Funny, stupid, and impractical bodies gallery

Since this Micro is so small it's a good platform for some fun.
Who can come up with the funniest body for the little Losi?

I searched for paper bodies online and found these.

Actually I think the yellow Dakar rally truck is pretty cool, but it won't be too practical as it will get destroyed fast.

Then I whipped out the Lego body, heavy and silly ugly.
I got some other ideas in the works that I'll get to later.

So if anyone else has some silly bodies, make them and give us a laugh.

Those would make sweet templates for scratch builds. The paper ones that is, not the Legos:mrgreen:

If I'd only kept all my legos I could build a course and a body, haha.

Agreed, the Dakar rally truck looks like it's pretty squared off, so a styrene version wouldn't be too hard. Care to share the link?

My 5y.o. prefers the lego one though ;)!

so i found some cool bodies on those links...

after farting around in photoshop getting the size rite here is my toyota landcruiser. i did it on 110 lb press card stock so its a little stronger then standard paper. i also ran out of ink so it gave me the chance to give it a little sharpie paint job.

any way check it out.

Just do a search for "paper models" and you'll see there's lots of free templates out there. You may have to scale up/down the image to get it to fit right and you'll have to print on thicker paper or glue it to thicker paper which is what I did. Upon further consideration if you covered them in thick clear packing tape and/or infused it with fiberglass resin from the backside, these would make some good cheap bodies. I think I'll start a paper models body thread since there were so many cool ones out there.

I got the Dakar ones here, it was just luck the body is about the right size.

Now can we see some goofy bodies?
