why is it when i turn off the radio first the motor runs and the wheels turn to the right? we have been running it all day and it just started doing this. when i turn the radio back on it takes a minute for it to stop and able to run with the radio.thanks in advance

I am not familiar with 2.4 setups, but some FM setups do this as well.
When you turn your Tx back on, it takes a second to bind the signal, then the Tx is sending neutral signals again, so it stops.

Always turn off the truck first, then the radio.....turning off the radio first cuts the signal to the truck and radio "Noise" from your surroundings can cause the truck to turn or run on it's own accord. Also when the truck is not being run...always unplug the battery.

This guy got it right. You have to re- bind your truck to the radio. This will reset the fail safe settings. Before you re-bind, make sure all of your trims are at zero, then re-bind. This will properly fix your problem.

Oh... you should always turn your truck off first then the transmitter.
