the dually wheels are made by cutting the center out of one rim, then cutting that rim in half, then gluing those halfs to the sides of a normal rim. didn't even take the beadlock rings off. but i did remove the screws and glue the ring to the rim. the servo is glued to the body. not the best idea when it comes to needing a new servo but it does keep the steering geometry better. the drive shaft in the front is stock. the rear is made out of miniquake axles and has a midship bearing. the shocks are from a mirco t, i enlarged the endcap holes to fit the stock screw more losely as to prevent binding. thanks for looking |

Sweeeeeet. Looks like those trucks they use in "redneck" pull contests (usually at mud-runnin comps)! Now you need to make another and have a pull-off!!!

Very nice..... good idea on the dually rims. What made you use dual shocks in the rear though? It looks great, just curious...... |

just looks cool, really the body was to heavy for the micro t springs. in the front i was able to squeeze the stock crawler springs onto the micro t shocks. works the same with less travel.

looks good, what did you use to support the second rear driveshaft? Is that a bearing and small shaft?

Yes, there is a bearing in the center. The smaller shaft is the male half of the stock shaft glued, into the female half of a miniquake axle. (mouth full) Because the shaft never needs to telescope it was OK to glue to length. The longer telescoping shaft is a complete MQ axle. The yokes on the MQ axles are hollow so I used a screw to clamp a bearing between them. Then clamped the bearing to the crossmemder on the chassy. I'm sorry I dont have a photo from assembly

You need to get another micro and make that a trail rig and use the ford as your towing vehicle.
