Just pulled these out of the mail box. I will update as I get it built, so stay tuned...

Build goals:

-Make a competitive rig
-Low number of chassis parts (budget minded)
-Use stock components...including shocks
-Adjustable ride height

Yes. The goal is to use the stock hardware (including shocks) to make a well performing rig. So the customer will not have to buy anything besides the chassis kit.

Alpha Male 01-09-2010 12:17 PM

Ok. I'm ready to order.

JeremyH 01-09-2010 12:20 PM

Sven, nice to see you selling products! Let us know when they are available!

Does it come with chassis braces??

Thanks Jeremy "thumbsup".

Yes, the shocks will mount to the cross braces.

Thanks, but it has some testing to go through before I take any orders.

Chassis is mounted. I need to go get a drill bit for the chassis braces.

The chassis is sitting on top of a piece of lead weight, but it will sit a tiny bit higher.

Both side plates weigh in at about 5 grams.

JeremyH 01-09-2010 08:50 PM

Looking good Sven! By chance, did you also weigh the stock chassis plates?

Positronic 01-09-2010 08:53 PM

awesome, can't wait to see it in action

helhedded 01-09-2010 08:55 PM

Very nice Steven! I will stay tuned to this one. I bought one of these for my Dad and he loves it but it can always get better 8)

SVEN 01-09-2010 09:54 PM

Thanks everyone. I just finished building it.

Jeremy: I measured both stock plates at 7 grams together. My final chassis plates will probably lose a little more out of the center, so it should be a touch lighter than they are now.

Complete pics in 7 minutes...

jcboof 01-09-2010 10:02 PM

Ok. Where's the pics??? LOL! Sweet looking chassis BTW!
