| Forward? Reverse? HELP!
I posted this in the mod bible as a reply, but perhaps it deserves its own thread. Quote:
Can anyone clarify if this is correct? In stock form, my mini rock crawler and my micro rock crawler go opposite directions (they are both bound to a Losi LSR-3000 that came with the MRC). If Marco is correct, one of them is limited in its potential right from the factory... The MRC came out first, so this would mean that the McRC is backwards when you buy it. Am I looking at this wrong?

| at least in my case, one would be wrong to think such things. my McRC goes forward with the th switch to the right my MRC has a flipped tranny, AND flipped motor wires (double negative means back to stock) and it goes forward with the th switch to the left anyone else the same? different? |

My GF's mini and micro are backwards from each other. But if you switch the tranny around without rewiring the motor then it should be normal...

i did realise that flipping the tranny would reverse its direction of travel, that is why my MRC has flipped motor wires. i dont agree with the word "normal" isnt normal the way it came from the factory? un-modded would be normal wouldnt it? does anyone else have a count for how many steps there are in the throttle each direction? nobody has answered my question yet.

Yes it is on the top of the remote by the antenna. I figured we all knew about that already. If you dont flip the tranny or motor wires then you will just have to flip the switch depending on what truck you are driving.

If you dont want to resoder the motor you can swap the pins on the plug. just push the tabs in and pull out the wire. |
