Custom tires just for fun I made these tires for fun. They came off this funny little tractor toy at Walmart. I pulled them off the rims and made my own. Here are some pics... http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/t...Picture032.jpg Took a 3/4" conduit coupler and cut it down. The stock rim slid in tight. http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/t...Picture031.jpg Tread is cool but not very good on traction. The rubber is soft but no even close to the stockers. Also the tire doesn't compress. I think it might look good on a scaler...plus it's wider! http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/t...Picture030.jpg Cut slots in the rim for the tire to rest in...holds nicely. http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/t...Picture033.jpg http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/t...Picture027.jpg Here is how much wider than stock. Height is maybe 1/8" taller than stock. http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/t...Picture035.jpg http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/t...Picture034.jpg |
