| Started my build(UPDATED PICS)
Well I still have a cast on my hand so working on this little booger is a challenge, but I couldn't take it any more. I lengthened the rear links to 1 7/8ths, to match my Courier body(2-56 all thread and 1/8th tubing). The driveshaft I lengthened using a silver pen like the one in the last pic. It had a plastic sleeve inside that I drilled out a little to fit the driveshaft(15/64th). I will update with pics as I go along. Thanks for looking Last edited by BLOODBANE; 02-11-2010 at 10:43 PM. |

The tires/wheels are So-Reals(static models. There are Urethane tires offered on the E-Bay that are the same tread pattern). They are a little hard for crawling, so I will used weighted LOSI rim/tires(just got my BWD stuff)for the tough trails.

The cast on my hand is gone, so I got some work done...... I still have to re-locate the ESC and battery(thinking about using the bed as it came with a bedcover) and make some bumpers/sliders/cage(maybe) and find a good way of mounting the bed. |

More updates. I got the body mounted, so now its time for bumpers and maybe a cage. Slow going but this is what I have so far..... Just using CA and some modeling putty(to help simulate welds). I will tie the cage into the longer angled pieces off the front bumper. More to come.... |

More updates. I dumped the plastic cage idea and went with this...... Not 100% square(I'm using 1/8th galvanized wire), but I'm pretty pleased with it so far. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the bed yet. |
