Default 1:24 Sammy 1/20 CJ-7!!!

Hey guys just found this on eVilBay and thought it would make an awesome build... I dont have time to do it myself but would like to see it!!!

cool model kit. I would be a little worried about the axle width compared to the body but it could still be done

Looks very cool!

It might be on the small side though? Sammys were small to begin with, so 24th scale puts the WB at 3.3 and the width at 2.5.

that was my concern too. all the 1:1 crawler samurais have wide track widths anyways so it could be cool build a crawler sammy

just found the 1/20 cj-7.... if I hadnt just bought the 1/20 gmc sonoma Id be all over this one!!

this is my 1/24 Tamiya zuk body on my mrc. it's tight. The body pegs of the mrc just squeeze between the doors on the body. i also have a 1/32 tamiya zuk that i was thinking about using, but don't have any pics of it. once i finish my cr-01 i'm gonna tackle my mrc zuk

Nice bod though, could cut the arse end off and make it a tuber rear with a zuk front to get the wheelbase up.

I was digging thru a box of old model kist and forund the testors sammi kit, I ve got a crawler on the way and I was thinking about the same build! looks like its gonna be a little small which is what i was thinking but I may just lenghthen the body and go for a pickup look....I dunno I got so many projects going on........
