I was at RCX on Sunday and saw what looked to be this kit with a bunch of other crawlers at the RCP rock course. Was that a prototype?

Hello. Nice chassis !! I see there is 3 holes both front and rear for attaching leafs. I assume these holes is for adjustment of wheelbase. What is max/min possible wheelbase ?? |

I might have to pick one of these chassis up just to put under a Bronko body, the 4.00 wheelbase would be perfect! |

Bought the U-Trail only to find this a day later. Then I saw this chassis at RCX and fell in love with it. So now I'm stuck with a unused U-Trail and haven't ran my micro at all. Can't wait until this comes out. Anyone interested in a unused U-Trail chassis for $15??

blade, i am completely confused on how this would mount onto everything, i have stolen the chassis and copied it onto derlin, its probably a lil longer than the stock one but i have no clue how you have done, this, PICTURES would help a bunch, this is a definite buy for me but i still can't figure out how you woul mount everything :P thanks a bunch for the chassis and i'll be buying on when i get paid :PPP |

Looks good Blade, awesome work. A set of Micro-T shocks without springs would complete the look (they would just be for looks, and mounted properly shouldn't affect anything adversely).

Well, I got mine a couple weeks ago, putting it together was a snap! Every piece fit as it was designed! I was able to do the conversion in less than an half hour! I have been driving mine almost everyday, and its been about 3 weeks with no issues what so ever! I'm running an ounce of BB's in the front wheels and I was kinda worried about the extra weight and the leafs but they are holding up strong, rollover after rollover! I am still amazed on how well this chassis was designed, very well thought trough Blade! Now lets talk about function.. To be honest with you, I think it drives and handles a lot better with this chassis, not only does it look bad ass, it works very well! When I mounted the servo to the chassis, I actually had to flip the mounts around, with the bottom facing up, this allowed me to mount the servo level or parallel to the chassis rails. I installed a Hitec HS55 and I used the small servo horn that came with the servo and boy, what an improvement! And with the well designed servo setup there is absolutely no bump steer! So if you love your Micro, I'm sure you will love it more with the Blade SMC! ~K4L Last edited by KRAWLR4life; 03-30-2010 at 09:31 PM. |
