Loving it. Although I would like a tad more center clearance. Nonetheless, this drives great and the lower COG makes unbelievably different driving experience. And I mean way lower COG. |

How much wheel weight are you guys running? I'm not really loving mine yet, but I think I need to weight my wheels much more aggressively.

Mine isn't running yet but I have been running 50g per wheel. That's lead shot in the tires, no foams, and some shot cramed in the backside of the rim. I might lighten the rear rims though.

Boiling this chassis in water or RIT Dye (to change the color) will result in a more flexible chassis....usage will also break it in after time. This chassis HAS TO HAVE wheel weight to work well, don't be afraid to be very aggressive with it |

First post here. Just loving this micro crawler! Got my DP chassis on the (ordered 2 of 'em!). Back in the day AE pan car front ends came in "natural" color and it was standard practice to dye them, plus it stress-relieves the plastic and makes it much tougher (less brittle). It is common practice for delrin and nylon in high load conditions to be boiled for stress relief. Question on 1S lipos, how does the ESC and servo respond with only 3.7V? I intend on going this way, just want some opinions on your experiences. Cheers, Phil. P.S. Dogbreath, you and your blog are a great resource for this hobby, keep it up! |

Any new updates out there on this style of chassis and how it's been performing?

The chassis is still the same. They make on for the trekker as well which is different. I like how mine performs currently
