Default Rottenbelly's BWD micro wedge build.

Well since i picked up some awesome micro vertex beadlocks, i figured i would pick up a new chassis to go along with!!!

I started this awhile ago actually. Tore down the stocker and started with the tranny. Was binding a little. Did a little trimming around the bearing and even tried a new tranny gear. Both wobbled!! I minimized it enough to live with so i greased it up and slapped it together

Parts were actually showing up during the build. Got my black wedge chassis and got started. Them my Atomic mod motor showed up... Great timing!!

I used the build instructions on the website. They were very helpful.
http://www.billet-works.com/build_in..._-_micro_wedge
Got the side plates and skid ready.

Next i started on the links.

I put a little grease in the ball cups to help loosin things up.

Got the lower links and skid mocked up.
Then mounted the new motor and tranny in place.( Motor was a tight fit. Had to bend the wires around to fit.)

Kinda jumped ahead here and got it mocked up.
Was running droop shocks on my stock rig. Put the regular spring on front and droop on back and ended up with this.

Didn't like the rears so i made up some 2 stage springs for the rear. Used a full micro-t blue and a half of a red. Like so.

Got the body mounted up. The micro desert truck body fits very well. Still leaves room for your esc on frame and battery on servo with minimal rubbing.

looks pretty sweet with the wheels and the body ... Those Remington shells fit nice? How do you keep 'em in, and are they filled with anything?

Looks great RB. By the way, I keep meaning to update the instructions on the site...which I will do this weekend. A lil filing on the rod ends where they contact the axle and skid will free it up 100%, and takes just a minute. I will post a pic showing the details tomorrow hopefully.

I did alittle trimming around the cups. I wasn't sure how much i could take before they started popping of frequently.
I have alittle binding on the front but the rear is quite smooth!!
Thanks for the goodies Don!!
Looking forward to getting the 1.9 and 2.2 wedge next.
