haha awesome, i shaved out the wheelwells of a beat bmw z8 body, fit is darn near perfect, tad small. still looks better than stock. measured my mini-z overland, pretty much 4" exactly axle to axle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMwWWJ3aH_I -----my body sits much lower what is the wheelbase of that chassis? cant see why it wouldnt work first post!! edit - the vid isnt me, and the body is prob too narrow to completely cover the tires Last edited by jaytet; 07-25-2010 at 09:50 PM. |

the wheel base of the smc fit my mini-z g55 body good. would need a lot of triming to fit the wheels in the wells tho and would probaly look goofy.

If you want a good scale look I suggest looking for and 1:20th scale model.

| Maybe it depends on your monitor. I figured the fact you can see through the other side was a pretty good indication they were lexan |

got my smc+ today realy nice looking chassis only thing i found out about it was you have to watch what your doing with the shackles as they seem to be made differntly fo inside and outside. ie the holes are bigger on the outside or it was just mine. also got some bad news the leaf springs are a little weak either side of the axle mounting points i dont know how but i managed to break one on the rear ive already emailed blade about getting some spares heres some quick pics of the built chassis now iam just waiting for my longer servo horn to come to get the steering working Last edited by boohoo; 08-27-2010 at 10:37 AM. |

i put mine together last night and it seems that the front wheels when fully locked left or right hits the leafsprings. i think it would need the wheel extenders but then ud have to extend the chassis to keep it proportionate. |
