Default Any Monster Truck Fans?

I have been working on a Losi Micro Crawler monster truck build for the past few months and I wanted to see if there is any interest before I post pics. I know there aren't alot of MT fans.

I did some mid-build testing with the Atomic BB2 and a 7.4 volt 350mah 20c lipo and it could wheelie on carpet from a stopped position onto the rear skid and go about 6-8 feet. It is alot more top heavy now so I would think it should be even easier to wheelie,I will find out in a few days. I will also radar it for top speed. I know it's faster than I thought it would be.
Here are some pics of the lower chassis. The 4 wheel steering took awhile to figure out but was easy to build, the only hardest part was making the "pivot arms" on the axles. They are made out of thin steel (side of a old computer case) so I could keep them small and the servo mount is styrene. I really like this steering setup because it isn't noticable and there is hardly any bump steer.

Here is the upper frame. Just styrene and superglue and alot more time than I planned.

Hells yes, monster trucks are pretty rad. I just caught some Monster Jam on Speed last night.

I'm not into some of the hokey bodies (Superman, Batman, Predator, etc.) but mechanically they are fascinating beasts. Some of the drivers go frickin' richter these days (Tom Meentz, Dennis Anderson)

Thanks for all the comments, especially on the cage because lt took alot of time and was a little frustrating. I built it by looking at pics of a2Xtreme chassis and merging that with the plan I had in my head. The hard part was keeping it straight and symetrical.

Here are the 2Xtreme pics I used. Good monster truck pics are hard to find.

Here is a link to my thread on the shocks. (click the pic)

While I'm at it here is a link to my 1/20 Lindberg Toyota build for anyone who wants to see it.

Nice looking Toyota.

1:20th scale is about perfect for the stock wheels/tires...

Specs
Length - 9 in.
Wheelbase - 5.25 in.
Width - 6 in.
Height - 5 in.
Weight - 420.1 grams
Tires - 2.75 in.
Suspension Travel - .75 in.
Motor - Atomic BB2 13 tooth
Battery - Thunder Power 7.4v 350mah 20c
Top Speed - 4-5mph
Turn Radius - 12 in.

The specs cover most of the info.I got the wheels and tires from ebay and I think they came from a 1/24 Tamiya Clodbuster non r/c model. They could be softer but they are much softer than the tires that come with plastic models and they have good grip and press-on bead locks so I didn't have to glue them. Everything turned out like I planned but I really wanted 2 shocks and a sway bar at each wheel but it was too much trouble to make them fit on the axle. The only problem with this build is that it dosn't handle well at speed because there is no suspension damping and the wheels and tires weigh 50 grams each. Sway bars would also help alot so I may find a way to put them on but without oil shocks I don't think it will be very fun to drive fast. I thought about putting a thick grease in the shocks but that would get messy. Dosn't matter much anyway because I think this one looks too good to mess up and I already rolled it a few times and scuffed the paint a little. I could not decide if I wanted to paint the chassis silver or black. Let me know what you guys think.
Anyone have a really good, original monster truck name?

If you want to see more pics click on the first pic for a link to photobucket.
