A lipo will give you more power and slightly longer run times. do a search in the losi micro and micro scale forums and you will find all the info you need
there are tons of posts and whole threads with reviews tips and advice.

which is why i suggested you search. so you can learn
all the questions you have will have been asked by others and answered, you wont be the first new person to lipos

also your needs may not be the exact same as someone else. you will likely want a 2s which stands for 2 cell which is 7.2/7.4 volts
a size close to stock would be something under 300mah
MAH is mili amps an hour that is the capacity

if you have a specific question the best place to post may be in a larger lipo thread as long as its related

That pack is pretty big (physically). You might have difficulty finding a place to put the pack in your truck.

Here is the pack that I have been running in my micro for quite some time:
http://krawlerhobbies.1freecart.com/...micro-lipo.htm

And here is a thread that discusses lipos on these trucks. You can see pictures and detailed descriptions of the lipo as well as the runtimes that I am getting using this pack.
Biggest lipo to fit in stock location?

I get about 40 minutes or so from that pack.....of course, this might vary depending on how you drive and what gearing and motor you run. Mine is with the stock gearing and motor.

Dude, read! The description for the battery says it's close to the same size as the stock battery; just 1cm longer than the stocker! That lipo looks good to me. Just about any charger will work; just make sure it has a balancer.
