Sick builds, they both look super capable and flexy for scalers "thumbsup"

BEELZEBOB 11-24-2010 11:21 AM

Nice work on the body.

the mini frame rail chassis from TCS would look really good, and bring the body down some too!

Like BEELZEBOB said, bring the body down, such a nice bodie and i love the color

Stugottz 11-24-2010 07:22 PM

sick dude that looks awesome

BTW How hard is it to mount a body

microrover 11-25-2010 08:31 PM

body isnt too hard depending on how you want to do it
here is how i did mine
1st removed stock body mounts
2nd have two battery hold down top pieces cut the side that has two slots in it so its flat
3rd i screwed the battery plates with slots into the skinniest holes the the body mounts go to have two flat plates coming off the top of the chassis
then i took the floor part of my rover and made my holes underneath the seats where they were centered with the mounting plates
i put four 4-40 screws through the floor and held them on with lock nuts then added 4 more lock nuts so i can adjust the hight of the body by moving those lock buts up or down then jut slide the screws through the hols you make in the mounting plates and put the final nuts on and its held in place
here are some pics and pics of the new chassis and new lowered body mounts position
enjoy
