While I think about it, what size heat shrink did you use on your ESC/RX?

Thumbs up on your crawler btw, looking real good.
Thanks dockman.
You won't regret purchasing a Pinch your gonna love it man.
I'll check on the shrink I think it was about 2 1/2".

Very cool build. Are you using mini t or micro t springs? I only ask this because it says mini t springs in the first post, but i was thinking mini t springs would be to big for micro shocks?

It amazed me with a few upgrades the stock Micro becomes a serious little crawler.

Yup that's exactly correct dockman, they are the rear set which is longer.

Well I've upgraded my Micro in several ways.

Mini Qlo tires - no foam, 25 grams of lead bird shot ft/ 15 grams rear.
BDW wheel extensions
Extended th stock wheelbase by 1/2"
Predator 90t motor by Getbent.

I had the Mimi Qlo tires for awhile but my motor was having a hard time turning them and the heat build-up was higher than I liked. It was a easy decision to upgrade to one of GetBent's 90t motors. Now I'm having no problems turning those tires over and my Motor ESC and tranny are running cool. I also got 40 mins of run time from a 350 mah 2s battery pack. the wider wheel base was accomplished with BDW wheel widener kit which allowed those ires he clearance they needed to gt a nice tight turning radius. It was a great upgrade and my mini's performance has been significantly changed for the good.

I lengthened my wheelbase by 1/2" which was about maximum for the Pinch chassis without a major modification to th shock mounting system. It's a great upgrade and really improved it's already great nice handling.

It also has a new look with the larger tires and longer wheelbase.

Looks great Norm, need thinking of getting one of these myself. I seen a vendor who makes a scale chassis, but can't remember who it is. It was made of delrin and really detailed.

But you now have given me a reason to buy it. With the BWD vertex rims. It sure looks tight.

Thanks...The Truggy cage is by ecoli he made a few shortly after the Micro came out, it really dresses up the stock body.

Thanks .... The tires are amazing, I sipped mine with a Exacto and it improve the traction, I tested them on a incline board.

Thanks Norm...When these first came out I wasn't overly impressed, but I picked up a used one cheap on Flee Bay. I've been amazed at how much I've played with the dam thing. I like to take it to comps for something to do while I'm waiting around, you don't need very much rock to have a challenging drive. The stock radio is OK but if you Bind it to a good radio you'll have more control options to play with. Some mods are a must and really help but you don't need them all to have a good truck. The Getbent motors are a must have for sure, they are smooth and powerful my 90t will wrinkle up those tires in a slight bind., but for a scaler his 80t would probably be better.

I'd like to build a scale rig myself sometime something sprung would be fun. I can only imagine what you'd come up with but I'm sure it would be sweet and with all he 1/24th styrene body options available choices are unlimited. I look forward to your build buddy I'm sure it will become a bench mark Micro build. T-buck has done some very nice ones, his Yota Truggy is just super.

Thanks for the compliment Norm, Coming from you means alot.

Micro looks awesome, I like the sipped job on the tires & I still wish I would of picked up one of those truggy cages when ecoli made them.

Praising your work is easy to do Tom, you do some really immaculate work on all your projects. Yeah those ecoli Truggy cages were a sweet piece of work, I really like the stock body it has wheel clearance and the cage gives it a nice custom look. Maybe ecoli could be convinced to build a few more?

Rig looks great with the new wheelbase and tires, Ive got to admit though, I am starting to doubt that you wheel that thing at all....... There is no way that body and cage can still be that clean and un scratched!

GB, I told you I just freshened it all up, in fact the cage had no paint left on it at all before I started and there are some new stickers and everything, I went all out including lubrication. I didn't want that new 90t Getbent motor moving into a dirty house.

Your the man GB thanks for a great motor.

Just did some work on my Micro and once again enjoyed useing a driver to remove and replace my links. It's so much better than popping them off and on.

I posted this awhile back but drilling holes in your ball caps is worth the effort.

Sorry for the cell phone pictures but you get the idea.

Where do you get that chassis? I've been using the HR graphite chassis, but I definitely want to upgrade. This looks like it would be a good pick.
