I've been cutting foam with an electric knife it works really good for a situation like this.

I have a foam collection from all the past tire designs some are pretty hard. I was thinking I would cut some soft 1/12th scale tires for the inner ring and some medium foam for the outer.

The Qlo tires have so much tread that flexes I don't think they need a lot of foam flex to bring them to life further.

Foam is the way to go no question, just what kind is the problem.
