| D-Shaft for micro wheels ?
I know i saw a thread a while back that a small hex was available for the micro wheel, that splined onto a d-shaft. Pretty sure it was on ebay.uk or something to. I just went back the first 21 pages and didnt find it but will keep searching as well. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. |

If you take a set of stock losi crawler wheels and cut them like you where goning to spin the hex around to widen them. the Stock micro sct wheels will slide snug inside the center of the crawler wheels.

Cool, ill order some up to try when i get some cash. The main thing on these us keeping them skinny though, the axles are already pretty wide. |

the d shaped ones are for converting model car wheels to fit xmod wheel shafts and as far as i know there not made anymore and they wont be for awhile as the guy who made them only made a certain amount for his own shop to sell on his website Xmods Aluminum Model Car/Truck Rim Adapters http://www.xmodsinternational.com/se...=search&page=1 and i wouldnt trust the custom cuts ones as i got some last year for a xmod and they were to wide for the wheel shaft Last edited by boohoo; 01-27-2011 at 05:11 PM. |

ha, I'm in the process of puting stock crawler tires on a micro rally. If it works, I'll spring for the roks. I was really disapointed that at 1/24 they put D shafts on the sct! I was looking forward to some cac wheels. |

| If you slip the crawlers rims over the sct rims they keep the same backspacing as the stock sct so it only gets a tiny bit wider.

Might try it some time. For now i came up with something. I cut the d-shaft wheel apart, kept the center and made a hex out of it haha. Works perfect and keeps the stock micro wheel backspace. |

Just a thought, but can you cross drill the d shaft and put a pin through like the micro crawler? Then maybe it would bolt up without having to mod the wheel, if you wanted to go back to the stock D shaped wheels, just pull the cross pin out and slide the old wheel back on? **EDIT** Just checked, wont work. The shafts are different diameters, too much slop! Last edited by getbent; 01-29-2011 at 11:25 AM. |

How wide will it be ?? (Asking because I need smaller wheels on my scaler and want to keep the width approx. like the micro crawler). | |
