Don't even worry about the white balance plugs on a 2S pack. My supposedly high quality Hyperion batteries don't even have balance leads.

I have a lot of larger 2s packs for my bashing vehicles and they definitely benefit from being balanced. | |

Here's some stuff for making your own links. 2-56 allthread, just pick your length. Personally, I got the 50 pack of 3" pieces. http://www.mcmaster.com/#threaded-ro...-studs/=alx682 And you'll need some Mini-T ball ends. Get two packs if you're making uppers and lowers. https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...ns&pn=LOSB1049 |

Sorry for the bad link. I used part # 91565A300. It's the 50 pack of 3", but they do have 12" and 24" if that's more your style.

Here's another good servo option. Futaba S3156 There is also the Savox SH-0261MG, but the case is 29.4mm deep (7.4mm more than the Futaba and 5.52mm more than the Hitec). It's in the $30 range and has 30oz of torque. Last edited by TruckerBrad; 01-21-2011 at 12:19 AM. Reason: added some info |

Bump back to page 1. This thread needs a sticky- or maybe just added to the "bible" post.
