Don't even worry about the white balance plugs on a 2S pack. My supposedly high quality Hyperion batteries don't even have balance leads.

I wouldn't judge by that. I've had a 4s pack without a balancer also, that doesn't mean it was the best idea.

I have a lot of larger 2s packs for my bashing vehicles and they definitely benefit from being balanced.

Thanks! I think it would be easier for everyone if it was and wrote it to be one. I think it would help new comers especially.

Here's some stuff for making your own links.

2-56 allthread, just pick your length. Personally, I got the 50 pack of 3" pieces.

http://www.mcmaster.com/#threaded-ro...-studs/=alx682

And you'll need some Mini-T ball ends. Get two packs if you're making uppers and lowers.

Do you have the stock number on the threaded rod you ordered?

Sorry for the bad link. I used part # 91565A300. It's the 50 pack of 3", but they do have 12" and 24" if that's more your style.

Here's another good servo option.

Futaba S3156

There is also the Savox SH-0261MG, but the case is 29.4mm deep (7.4mm more than the Futaba and 5.52mm more than the Hitec). It's in the $30 range and has 30oz of torque.

There are readymade adapters to use the TP black plug on a "regular" balance charger (with white plugs) for about 3$ a piece.
Also, some shops sell complete adapter boards with the right plugs ...

Bump back to page 1. This thread needs a sticky- or maybe just added to the "bible" post.
