Default Losi Xcelorin 8750

Does not fit.
I wanted to try some speed in my 2nd micro.
This has been a hassel.
First I got the Xcelorin motor/esc but needed a rx.
So I just got a spectrum micro in the mail, cool no problem. Hooked it all up and it all works great.
Then, I went to install it and the BL 8750 will not mount up close enough for the pinion to mesh w/the spur!
I either need to drill out the motor mount or find bigger spur/pinion gears.
Any thoughts?
I may just sell the system and buy a Atomic Mods BBII and see how that does.

According to Losi it "should" fit, but it wasn't designed for the crawler. It is way to high a KV motor to use the crawler as intended, and it wasn't designed to go fast. There is a lot of gearing in the crawler to make it go slow so even if you did get the brushless to fit it would not go as fast as you would expect. If you want a fast micro I would get a Micro-T and toss the brushless system into that, coupled with a lipo you can get the little things doing 25-30mph.

Most people put the brushless in then cause its the only option to be able to have the seperate rx in ur micro kits
