I dont know about everyone else, but, I would rather over pay out the azz than do the Danally (Cut my stock cheap azz wheels in half and re-glue them) Mod so I can run the larger QLO Tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How bout this, Get the Aluminum wideners from Don at BW and then order the Derlin widener kit from Crawler X and use the Derlin barrel nuts on the Aluminum wideners????? Just thinkin out loud here. ??????? |

I know why BWD doesn't make new nuts. BWD and Crawler-X must be working together. BWD keeps its nuts off the market, and Crawler-X becomes the only supplier of barrel nuts for Micro Crawlers. I bet soon Crawler-X will jack up the prices because they've got a monopoly on the Micro Crawler barrel nut market. It's a conspiracy! Pretty sneaky, but we're onto you now!

Thanks for bringing this thread back. Guys, I am workin on a solution to this issue of no barrel nuts. I have hundreds of hubs here that need barrel nuts, those lil buggers have just been a total pain. It seems an easy enough part, but parts that small require very specific equipment and tooling to handle properly and efficiently enough to make it worth while.

I think at this point if the cost goes up, you'll still get plenty of demand. Either that or you're proving my conspiracy theory! ;)
