Question Choosing a Motor

I have been wheelin my Crawler for some time now and think I want to make an upgrade to the motor. I am after control at low speeds but still keeping about the same top speed with a lipo battery.

Atomic BB2? I hear they are faster but you loose crawling contol at low speeds.

Preditor Motors? Well I guess until Getbent gets a vendor star those are out, but can anyone tell me how the control is at low speeds? And is there a time frame for him to start making them again?

Other than those 2 I really have no Idea,

Any input is good input so let me have it!!!

I would really like leads to this as well. Perhaps a hop-up provider should do a run of a similar style motor to the 80/90 Predator motors.. i'm sure they'll be a huge response in the lmrc community! Similar to how we all needed those bwd wideners!

you could always order one and try to your own 90 turn... might be a little past your abilities but just a thought.
i dont mean for that to sound rude i just dont know what you can do lol

Anyone running a Atomic bb2? please tell me what you think

Thanks

I have considered truning my own but there is a reason not everyone is doing it, seems like if it was not to complicated more people would do it.

I put the bb2 in just a little over a week ago. ran a couple packs through it and liked it better than the stock motor. it runs quieter, but one thing i noticed was that it hung up on me a little due to the binding in my tranny. once i get rid of that, it should be fine, hope this helps some
