Water is fine just waterproof the servo, ESC, and the motor mud is the same as water, sand oh boy stay away with that, sand can get in the gear case and axles.

Oh, ok..thanks mate..by the way, is there any other way of waterproofing the electrics other than using plasti dip or liquid tape? (an easier way that doesnt involve taking the electrics out lol)

I live in arizona and have really no choice but to drive in sand if i want to crawl outside...

but i have had no problems with the axles yet and have been through 11 packs so far.

oh and stay away from beds(sheets,covers,etc..) the wheels can rap up in the material and put stress on the mechanics of your rig

For water proofing the ESC you can use a balloon, just wrap the case and zip tie/tie the end of the balloon. Now for the servo use a tape or glue where the plastic comes together and remove the screws then where the holes are from the screws put a little drop of hot glue and quickly screw them back in.

Thats what I have currently set up and it works like a charm!
