Unhappy Drive shaft idea .....

So since people using the 2000kv outrunner motors and other larger motors are poping drive shafts .. has anyone ever shortened a mini crawler metal shaft or since we extend them do they fit .. maybe a little mod for the end caps .... does anyone have a mini also and can post a pic of the end caps ... I bet yu could just run a screw threw the hole ... just a idea

Haven't seen them up close to compare but i would think mini losi parts would be huge.
you might be better off with mini qlo parts. dont know if they are stronger but they at least look beefy. and ive seen a few custom SSMT builds that have used metal shafts and joints

Super slicks monster truck. it was a cheap radio shack toy that people would tear apart for the axles and trans. its what people used for micro scalers before losi came around.

do a search here or google for ssmt and you will find lots of builds
