On the subject of trail trekker motors. Anyone know what the windings are on the stock motor? Is it the same motor that was on the micro crawler?

yep they are 57 turns i actually pulled one apart and tried to re-wind one and i counted the turns!

Why does my motor heat up so much ?

ChiefWigman 07-26-2011 12:51 PM

Could be too much battery power going tot he motor, or you might have overtightened something related with the drivelines or a wheel is on too tight

How did the rewind go for you? Just curious if you had any luck, these are tedious little ba$t&rds. Lol
